David Edgar issues Rangers transfer verdict as Tuur Rommens footage emerges

David Edgar wants Rangers to sign 6 players like Tuur Rommens
Edgar, the host of the Heart and Hand podcast, has shared a positive reaction to footage emerging of Rommens‘ recent interview.
Looking at it, Edgar has urged Rangers to sign six players like the Belgian in the summer transfer window.
A number of the Light Blues’ signings this season have not lived up to their expectations, but the left-back is one who has exceeded expectations.
Will Rangers sack Danny Rohl if they fail to win the league?
If he goes, who would be a good replacement for him?

He arrived as a relative unknown, but quickly adapted to become one of their most important players.
Recently, he even fronted up to questions about the team’s mentality and spoke about how the dressing room is still fired up despite recent setbacks, showcasing his leadership abilities.
He said: “No, not really, because I think that the mentality in this group is great.
“I think we have no issues with that, so I don’t think it’s about mentality. I don’t know (what’s gone wrong), it’s just like adjustments in the game.
“Maybe a little bit of focus, I don’t know. I don’t think it’s about mentality.
“It’s been intense this week. The result was not good, everybody knows that but we’ve reflected on it and we go again on Sunday.”
To which Edgar wrote on X: “Just need to find another six of him in summer…”

Can Danny Rohl build his team around Rommens?
Rohl knows that James Tavernier’s departure will leave the squad bereft of real leaders inside the dressing room.
Despite being at Rangers for nearly four months now, Rommens has shown that he could take up a leadership role from next season.
Making him the captain may be a tad premature, but he is a player that the manager could look to build his squad around.
The 23-year-old has proven to be extremely reliable with his performances on the pitch and based on the footage shared above, he is conducting himself well off it too.
He is speaking like a true leader, and the fans have already warmed up to him.
Had he not been injured, the Light Blues may have still been in the title race, but there is a good chance that they will win the league next season if they get their recruitment right in the summer and potentially build around him.
