Rangers set for £1.5m windfall due to record-breaking development
Rangers will benefit from the fact that they play host to Celtic in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup.
For the first time in 15 years, there will be an Old Firm derby in a cup competition before the semi-final stages.
This is also understood to be the most lucrative Scottish Cup tie in history, with the two sides set to share north of £2.5m in gate receipts.
Prior to this, the 2024 final between the two sides, which was played at Hampden Park, held the title of being the most lucrative fixture, amassing £2.2m in gate receipts.

Rangers set for 63 per cent of revenue
Rangers announced that Celtic fans will be occupying the entire Broomloan Stand for the derby on 8 March.
This will see 7500 Hoops fans in attendance for an Old Firm game for the first time in eight years.
While they do not count for 37 per cent of the total attendance inside the stadium, the Daily Record claim that under the Scottish Football Association rules, they will be entitled to 37 per cent of the gate receipts, with the Gers entitled to the remaining 63 per cent.

This means that Celtic are set for a £1m windfall, while the Ibrox outfit could pocket a sum in the region of £1.5m.
These are significant sums of money, as the eventual winners of the tournament will only be getting £300,000.
This is because most of the money in the Scottish Cup does not come from prize money but from gate receipts.

Danny Rohl may look to make tactical tweak for the Celtic games
While Danny Rohl deserves credit for what he has done since taking over the reins at Ibrox, he knows that his side should be dominating games and seeing off their opponents in a better manner.
The 2-2 draw against a bottom-placed Livingston side is not acceptable for a side looking to win the Scottish Premiership title.
What made things worse was that Livingston were 2-0 up and it took 20 minutes after they were a man down for the Gers to score their first goal of the game.
Such a performance against Celtic, despite their recent struggles, will see Rangers getting punished and that is why Rohl could opt for more solidity in the middle of the park, and look to win the midfield battle.
A trio of Nicolas Raskin, Tochi Chukwuani and Mohamed Diomande gives them the best chance of winning both Old Firm derbies.
