West Ham owners warn Tottenham with rallying cry over Premier League survival
West Ham United’s owners have sent a warning to relegation rivals Tottenham Hotspur that the battle for Premier League survival is not over.
The Hammers go into the final three games of the Premier League season one point behind Spurs.
West Ham had closed a 13-point gap on Tottenham to leapfrog them in the table a few weeks ago.
But Roberto De Zerbi has revived Spurs to pick up two wins and a draw from his first four games in charge, swinging the balance of power back in their favour.
West Ham owners warn Tottenham survival battle is not over
It means West Ham have to hope Tottenham slip up and they can pounce to take advantage.
After a 3-0 defeat at Brentford was followed by Tottenham’s 2-1 victory at Villa, many feel West Ham are doomed to demotion.
How would a draw with Arsenal make you feel about our survival chances? 🤔
West Ham would still be below Spurs on goal difference… 😬

Draw is no use sadly. Think we have to win all our games now
I’m so torn on this! I think I’ll say yes and pray Leeds can get a result at Spurs. Also need Chelsea to beat them, which looks unlikely at the moment 🤦♂️
Especially as the Hammers host title-chasing Arsenal next on Sunday before Spurs welcome Leeds to north London.
West Ham are facing a triple worst nightmare scenario to end the season despite a huge uplift in results and performances since January.

After Arsenal, West Ham go to Newcastle then play Leeds at home on the final day while Spurs are away to bitter rivals Chelsea then at home to European chasing Everton.
The fixtures look tough for both sides but most pundits, journalists and experts are now tipping Tottenham to stay in the top flight at the expense of the Irons.
But West Ham’s owners have warned Tottenham it’s not over yet with a rallying cry over Premier League survival.
Speaking exclusively to Hammers News ahead of the monumental clash with Arsenal at the London Stadium on Sunday, the most senior spokesman for West Ham’s joint chairmen said while the odds are against their side, they are not insurmountable by any stretch of the imagination.
West Ham can beat the odds to relegate Spurs, say owners
“Never say never,” the top spokesman for West Ham’s owners told Hammers News when asked if there is still hope inside the club.
“Sadly last weekend killed us.
If we are to get a RESULT vs Arsenal, how do you think we’d do it? 🧐

Get in their faces give no spaces, keep pressure on, if we stand back, we’re cooked. If by some strange occurrence we get a goal first, for god’s sake keep on the front foot. Incorporate Troare if possible, rest Pablo?
Let Arsenal beat themselves. Frustrate them and get the nerves going. No giving away cheap fouls or corners for set piece FC 😂
We can’t play scared. Don’t let the game pass us by, we’ve been doing far too much of that recently. Too passive
“The bookies give us a 25 per cent chance of survival and they are clever people.
“But 3/1 shots, or longer, come up all the time in sport.”

That salient message should have nerves jangling at Tottenham.
The roles are reversed again now and it is Spurs who have to deal with the pressure of being the hunted rather than the hunters.
West Ham also have what some would see as an advantage in that they play before Tottenham in the next two games, offering the chance to really turn up the heat if Nuno Espirito Santo’s side can pick up positive results.
Carragher himself believes West Ham can get a result against Arsenal. A win over the Gunners would see the Hammers climb out of the bottom three and back above Spurs.
