Crysencio Summerville makes promising statement on West Ham United future
It is difficult to imagine a scenario in which West Ham United could even dream about Premier League survival without the rapid-fire improvement of Crysencio Summerville.
What changes would you make to this team? Feel free to tell me how wrong I’ve got it 😂

As such, his form has reportedly attracted interest from rival clubs in the transfer market. Indeed, Summerville has previously admitted that his future is uncertain, amid links with the likes of Tottenham (ahem), Roma and Napoli.
However, it seems the Dutchman has found a happy home here in east London.
Summerville says West Ham ‘feels like home’
Summerville was discussing topics such as grassroots football, relegation battles and life off the pitch alongside teammates Jarrod Bowen and Callum Wilson.
When discussing the pressure of the relegation battle, the 24-year-old talked of his experience of going through one with Leeds, while also letting slip just how happy he is at West Ham.
Out of 10, how confident are you that West Ham will stay up? ⬆️
Nuno is feeling good! 🤩

Speaking to West Ham United’s official YouTube channel, he said: “I’ve been in this situation as well with Leeds United. I’m very young but I know what is asked of me in this situation and I just try to give my all for the team, for this club as well.
“I’m here for only two years but it feels like home.”
Clearly, that does not guarantee he will stay this summer. The history of football is quite literally littered with players talking about how happy they are before leaving shortly after.
No one should be getting carried away, but it is interesting to hear Summerville’s delight at playing for the club.

Much of his time while clad in claret and blue had been a struggle prior to this stunning turnaround in form. Still, rather than shy from it – as so many other attacking players have done previously at the club – Summerville has embraced it.
Even if Summerville does leave this summer, there’s still a chance he can provide quite the parting gift.
If West Ham do stay up, he will have played a huge part in that success.
Summerville was in line for a new contract at West Ham prior to Baroness Karren Brady’s departure and it will be fascinating to see what the future holds.
