Jean-Clair Todibo may have lost West Ham fans for good after nightmare display vs Newcastle
Jean-Clair Todibo’s performance against Newcastle was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
The West Ham defender made two costly mistakes within the first 18 minutes, as Newcastle scored twice.
Nuno Espirito Santo then replaced Todibo with Taty Castellanos in a tactical change just seven minutes later.
The Frenchman’s disastrous cameo raises questions over whether he has played his last game for the Hammers.

Jean-Clair Todibo’s West Ham future thrown into doubt after awful performance
Mads Hermansen was arguably most to blame for Newcastle’s opening goal, overhitting his pass towards Todibo.
Todibo then pressed Harvey Barnes on Newcastle’s right wing, but he was beaten far too easily.
The defender either needed to win the ball or commit a foul to prevent Barnes from having a free run into the box.
Having skipped past Todibo, Barnes made his way into a dangerous position and picked out Nick Woltemade.
Todibo should also have done more to prevent Newcastle’s second goal, as he was caught in no man’s land.
He followed Barnes into midfield and failed to cut off his pass to Bruno Guimaraes on the counterattack moments before William Osula scored.
