Kansas City Chiefs Teammate Urges Taylor Swift To Do One Thing for Travis Kelce
So far in the 2024 NFL season, Taylor Swift has attended three out of the five games the Kansas City Chiefs have played. One player, however, wants her to make it to as many games as she can.
Speaking on the Up & Adams Show, Chiefs safety Justin Reid was asked if he thinks Travis Kelce plays better when his girlfriend, Swift, watches games. Reid didn’t hesitate in answering, saying “Absolutely” before explaining his take.
“Who doesn’t play better when they want to impress their girlfriend?” Reid shared.
The Chiefs veteran then proceeded to send a message directed at Swift, requesting the pop star to “keep coming” to the games. If possible, Reid even wants her to attend all of their remaining contests.
“Taylor, come to all the games. Taylor, keep coming,” Reid pleaded.
For what it’s worth, Travis Kelce struggled in Weeks 1 and 2 even with Taylor Swift in attendance, recording just four receptions for 39 yards.
However, he did bounce back in Week 5 with Swift watching from the stands again after missing the Chiefs’ previous two games. While Kelce was still unable to score a touchdown, the star tight end made nine catches for 70 yards.
Unfortunately for Kelce and his teammate Justin Reid, it’s unlikely Taylor Swift will be able to attend many more Chiefs games moving forward. It remains possible that the music icon will make an appearance from time to time, but with her Eras Tour resuming on October 18, she’ll definitely get a lot busier.
