Steven Pressley has indicated that Luke Graham may be reaching the end of hid Dundee career amid Rangers and Sheffeld United links.
The Dark Blues boss has told supporters to enjoy Graham while they still can, along with winger Tony Yogane, who is set to return to parent club Brentford at the end of the season. Graham’s performances this season have seen him attract attention of the Govan side, as well as Portsmouth, Sheffield United and QPR in the EFL Championship.
The 22-year old has been a mainstay at the back for Pressley this season in a young Dundee side, who have significantly improved as the season has wore on. He’s also been a regular feature for Scot Gemmill’s Scotland U21. After rejecting bids from Pompey and QPR in January, as well as the rumbling interest from Danny Rohl, Pressley isn’t sure how long he’ll be able to hold onto his star man and is already thinking about replacements beyond the summer.
Dundee prepare for life without Graham
He told The Courier: “He’s (Graham) been outstanding for us, he really has. He’s been a real standout. He’s grown week after week. Our biggest problem, it’s obvious, is trying to hold on to him or trying to replace him. That’s going to be the hardest part of the summer. It may be the case that we just have to enjoy him while he’s here.
“I think that it’s the nature of the way football works that we’re not the only selling club. There’s maybe only one or two clubs in the world that aren’t selling clubs. We have to accept that. But as the club have shown over the January window that Luke Graham won’t be leaving unless we get the fee that we think is acceptable and reflects his value. And that seems to grow by the game.”
Rangers will have to fork out upwards of £1m if they want Graham in the summer, as they rejected a bid of this amount from QPR in January. Until then, he’ll be helping the Dark Blues stay in the Scottish top flight.

Pressley on Dees wingmen
Tricky winger, Yogane is the most fouled player in the SPFL Premiership this season and has been a huge attacking threat for Dundee alongside fellow wide man and Swansea loanee, Cam Congreve. While both players are set to return to their parent clubs in the summer, Pressley is also encouraging fans to enjoy them while they can. He added: “Everyone who speaks to me about our team talks about our wide players.
“That’s something I think is really important because the modern game has become very tactical and organised. So within that, you need players who can eliminate defenders and change how a game looks. We are fortunate that in our two wide players we have people who can do that. I am very pleased with the way they have contributed this season. Tony came off against Celtic on Sunday and wasn’t happy but that’s a good thing.
“He’s doing great, it’s not just his elimination at times, his ability to retain possession under pressure is good. He takes a lot of impact, he’s the most fouled player in the Premiership right now. To deal with that you have to be brave, to take the contact he’s getting and he shows that. If you’re the most fouled player it’s a compliment – so it doesn’t surprise me.”
