Steven Gerrard to Rangers: Ibrox return claim emerges as pressure mounts on Danny Rohl
Ewen Cameron has delivered a verdict on Steven Gerrard or Frank Lampard becoming the next Rangers manager.
The STV Radio host claims that Danny Rohl will not be in charge of the Ibrox outfit next season.
Pressure is mounting on the German as Rangers lost to Celtic on penalties in the Scottish Cup on Sunday, and a week before that, squandered a two-goal lead against them at home, with the Scottish Premiership game ending 2-2.

Ewen Cameron expects Steven Gerrard or Frank Lampard to be the next Rangers manager
Speaking on STV Radio, Cameron believes that either Lampard or Gerrard will be in the Gers hot seat for next season.
He does not see the owners backing Rohl after spending big money in January and also in the summer, when Russell Martin was in charge.
The German has done well to get Rangers back in the title race, but results against Celtic and other teams in the league have led to many questioning his ability to make them title winners again.

Cameron does not expect the hierarchy to give Rohl the players he wants and the money needed to strengthen his squad, as in his view, he has let them down.
He said: “I would also suggest that he will not be the manager in the summer and I think that either Steven Gerrard or Frank Lampard will be in the hot seat at Ibrox for the start of the new season.
“Do you actually think they are going to back Danny Rohl? They spent 43m euros.
“It’s his team. It’s his players.”

Will Lampard be willing to move to Ibrox?
Gerrard was largely successful at Rangers, guiding the team to their last SPFL title, as he did so without losing a single game.
As he is currently out of work and did interview for the job again, there is a likelihood that he remains keen on the role.
However, things are a bit different for Lampard, who is currently in charge of English Championship side Coventry City.
They are currently first on the table and appear all set to play Premier League football next season.
Given the job he has done there, the owners will surely look to back him in order to avoid relegation.
He is not expected to abandon ship after helping them become a top-flight side, so as things stand, Rangers are very unlikely to name Lampard as their next permanent manager.
