West Ham United got a massive victory against Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Nuno Espirito Santo made two changes to his starting lineup at Craven Cottage on 4 March, with Jean-Clair Todibo and Callum Wilson coming into the team.

After a quick start from the Hammers, the Cottagers ended the first half on a positive note, but neither team made the most of their chances.

Crysencio Summerville then gave the Irons the lead in the 65th minute after a mix-up between Bernd Leno and the Fulham defence, which was enough to seal the three points.

Crysencio Summerville can keep Premier League hopes alive for West Ham United

Summerville, 24, has the ability to secure the Hammers’ top-flight status this season single-handedly.

    MORE WEST HAM STORIES

The Dutch forward has now scored five goals in the Premier League as his red-hot form continues for the Irons.

A few weeks back, fans in the London Stadium were resigned to the fact that the East London outfit would get relegated, but there’s been a massive turnaround in E20.

Summerville can be the catalyst to help Nuno avoid Premier League relegation this season and the forward has nine more games to drag West Ham out of the bottom three.

Mads Hermansen in another redeeming display vs Fulham

Mads Hermansen has shown incredible resilience at the Hammers to get back into the starting lineup.

The Denmark international has now started the last five league games for the Irons and has cemented his place in Nuno’s plans.

After a tough start to life at the London Stadium, where he faced ridicule from supporters, it’s inspiring to see the goalkeeper redeem himself after his big-money move from Leicester City in the summer.

Hermansen pulled off some impressive saves in both halves as the East London club managed to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League.
