Rangers can bank £15m+ in profit as huge Chermiti exit claim emerges
Rangers could make a significant profit if Youssef Chermiti is to part ways with the club in the summer transfer window.
After a slow start following his £10m move from Everton in the summer, Chermiti has finally found his feet at Ibrox.
He has scored consistently in big games against Hearts and Celtic, and his bicycle kick in the Old Firm derby will go down in history as one of the best goals in the fixture.

Gordon Smith believes Youssef Chermiti will drive up interest in striker
Gordon Smith has admitted that he got it wrong about Chermiti, after writing off the Portuguese striker initially.
It took a while for the former Everton forward to get going, but a lot of that could be attributed to upheaval behind the scenes and also a change of manager.
Danny Rohl has managed to get the best out of the 21-year-old, something that Smith has acknowledged.
However, the former Rangers chief believes that the striker’s recent performances will see his agents spring into action.

They could view this as the perfect opportunity to drive up interest in their client and get him a big move in the summer.
Gers’ former Director of Football stated that his agents will be sending clubs videos of his last five goals in order to prove to them that he is ready to take the step up and leave Ibrox.
He said: “He’s definitely become a better player under Danny Rohl, there’s no doubt about that. His mentality looks different to the way it was when he first came into the club.
“He looks like he’s got so much more confidence and his manager deserves huge credit for that. Chermiti wasn’t doing it under Russell Martin. He was showing absolutely nothing and was missing simple chances.
“My comment was based on his previous record and the money Rangers were paying for him. His record before his arrival was bad, and at that stage, he wasn’t showing any potential.
“He’s definitely turned it around since I made that comment.
“I can imagine his agent will be sending his last five goals to all the clubs out there asking, ‘Would you be interested in this boy’?”

How much can Rangers realistically ask for Chermiti?
Rangers paid a decent amount to sign Chermiti, making him one of their most expensive signings of all time.
If he does want to leave at the end of the season and his agents have actually taken steps in that direction, the Ibrox outfit are guaranteed a decent payday.
Not only will they look to make a 100 per cent profit on the striker, but they would even factor in his age and state that he will only get better for the next few years.
There is a very good chance that their asking price is £25m or even more than that, and if he is moving to a club that generates lucrative revenue, they may even demand more.
This will see the Gers making at least £15m in profit after just one season, representing a tremendous deal on paper.
