Nick Woltemade’s stance on leaving Newcastle for Germany revealed
A return to German football is not currently on Nick Woltemade’s agenda, an expert has revealed.
Woltemade, of course, left the Bundesliga to join Newcastle United from Stuttgart back in August.
Bayern Munich attempted to sign Woltemade but they were unsuccessful in their pursuit and they have since criticised how much the Magpies paid for him.
He has scored ten goals in 38 games for the club during a difficult season on Tyneside.
Bruno is injured 😡 How does this change Newcastle’s season?!
I’m gutted and that Sunderland match looks a lot more scary now…

While he hasn’t been perfect, no one could possibly have expected him to be. Woltemade is relatively inexperienced and was moving to a new league to play for a team who have struggled to function as a unit all season.
Quite whether or not he will ever be a leading Premier League striker is up for debate, as it would be for any player at this early stage of his career.
Reports back in his native Germany from leading outlet BILD suggested – perhaps jokingly – that the 24-year-old would welcome a return to German football this summer, at either Stuttgart or Bayern.
According to German football expert Seb Stafford-Bloor of The Athletic, however, Woltemade is NOT considering a return to Germany at this stage of his career.

Why Nick Woltemade can be ever better for Newcastle United next season
Perhaps Woltemade will leave one day and join Bayern when Harry Kane decides to move on.
That does not feel out of the question, but it’s not something to consider right now.
Next season, Woltemade could be even better for Newcastle.
How much is Nick Woltemade worth now?
The Newcastle United man was included in Sports Illustrated’s top 10 most valuable players in the world 😮

Signed for £69m. Now, after banging in the goals for Newcastle, some say Woltemade is worth £112m. How much would you want if the Magpies were to sell?
It has sometimes taken players a while to fully settle in under Eddie Howe and while the striker has hit the ground running, it will be fascinating to see what he’s like when he has a full pre-season under his belt.
Woltemade has endured a mixed season at Newcastle but there’s plenty of reason for optimism going forward.
Indeed, the supporters have certainly taken to having him up front instead of Alexander Isak.
It would be foolish to expect everything to be absolutely perfect but, by and large, things have gone fairly well.
This is surely only the beginning for Woltemade at Newcastle…
