Jamie O’Hara in awe at Rangers vs Hearts – ‘What an atmosphere’

Jamie O’Hara has stepped back from his disrespect of Rangers after their 4-2 win over Hearts on Sunday.
The former Tottenham midfielder had previously said that Stockport County would win the Scottish Premiership over the Ibrox side and Celtic.
However, it appears that he was pleasantly surprised by what he witnessed from Danny Rohl and Derek McInnes’s sides on 15 February.
O’Hara took to social media after the contest to clarify his position on the Scottish game after the thrilling affair that took Rangers just two points behind the league leaders.
What did O’Hara say about Rangers vs Hearts
Youssef Chermiti’s first-ever career hat-trick was the difference between the sides on a back-and-forth afternoon in Govan.
It seems as though the controversial Sky Sports and talkSPORT presenter has changed his mind on football in Scotland after the fantastic game between the two title contenders.
O’Hara took to X on 15 February, saying: “I’ve dug out Scottish football in the past, but I have to say this Rangers v Hearts match is a proper football match, what an atmosphere.”
Why O’Hara has to keep watching Scottish football
The Scottish title race may be the most thrilling in Europe at the moment, given how close it is between the contenders at the top.
The Jambos, the Light Blues and Celtic are all within three points of each other, with 11 matches left to play until the conclusion of the campaign.
There have already been plenty of twists and turns, and there will likely be plenty more before the winner is decided.
The G51 outfit still have to play Celtic before the split, then once after it, and then will play Hearts again after it too, which could be vital in determining the destination of the championship in May.
Rohl’s side will fancy their chances, given that they have picked up the most points in the division since he was appointed in October.
However, the Hoops have been resurgent since Martin O’Neill returned and McInnes’ side have been on fire all season.
It should go down to the wire, and right now, it seems like a fool’s game to try and predict a winner at present.
One thing is for sure, O’Hara should tune in, it may well change his misguided and frankly ignorant perception on the Scottish game, once and for all.
