Elland Road insider makes shocking Facundo Buonanotte revelation – fans will love it – The Leeds Press

It has been an exciting couple of days at Leeds United, after two weeks of inactivity in the January window, things are now set to burst into life. The Whites have been linked with some key targets.

Some potential exits have been discussed as well – Jack Harrison is currently being tipped to move to Fiorentina to Italy. A move has not been confirmed, but the reports indicate that Leeds want to change the terms of the deal for the winger to leave permanently.

Early on Thursday, it was reported that Facundo Buonanotte is set to arrive at Elland Road. Fabrizio Romano reported that the Argentine’s deal at Chelsea will be cut short, with the player set to undergo a medical before joining Leeds on loan for the rest of the season.

Graham Smyth reveals detail about Facundo Buonanotte to Leeds United move

Fans at Elland Road will remember how the midfielder missed a flight to complete his move at Thorp Arch. He decided to join Chelsea at the last minute, but his time at Stamford Bridge was not the best.

Graham Smyth is reporting that the 21-year old pushed for the move to Leeds United; he wants to join the club and is confident he will get enough playing time in the first team. Per Smyth’s information, the Argentine backs himself to succeed in the Premier League after that short failed stint with Chelsea. Daniel Farke could have a key weapon for the second half of the campaign.

Fans will be happy with revelation

Even though the Argentine abandoned a move to Leeds United when Chelsea got involved, it is pleasing to now hear that he wants to play for the Whites. Daniel Farke could also use his profile in the team – he is a creative attacker that can provide a huge boost to the attack. This season, he has not had much game time to prove that on loan at Chelsea.

    Facundo Buonanotte Last Season
Competition Games Played Minutes Goals Assists
    Premier League 31 1,529 5 2
    FA Cup 2 90 1 1
    EFL Cup 2 97 0 0

But his time at Leicester City showed how much of a key piece he could be to a team near the bottom of the table. Facundo Buonanotte was one of the standout players with the Foxes last season even though they went down. His ability on the ball is fantastic, he can dribble and create opportunities for his teammates also. Leeds are signing a very good player, who is set on putting his career on track after the failed move at Chelsea this season.
