Everton could get the best out of Thierno Barry with clever tweak, but it may cause a fresh issue
Everton’s summer signing Thierno Barry has experienced his struggles in adapting to his new life in the Premier League.
David Moyes will be desperate to see his big-money addition start finding the back of the net at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Having been withdrawn in the game against Fulham at the weekend, Barry received a standing ovation from Everton fans for his performance.
There may have been no goal in the game for Barry, but there was a lot for the fans in attendance to get excited about.
Everton News reported last month that Everton will eye a new striker in January to help ease the pressure on the likes of Barry.
However, Moyes may already have the answer inside Finch Farm to get the full potential out of the 23-year-old striker.

Everton formation tweak could lead to Thierno Barry transformation
Tim Sherwood has claimed Barry is not good enough for Everton from what he has seen in the opening months of the Premier League term.
Clearly, a return of zero goals is not what Everton will have had in mind when they signed him over the summer.
Those inside Everton remain confident in Barry’s potential and feel, with time, the Frenchman could excel on Merseyside.
Looking back to Barry’s 2024/25 campaign with Villarreal, there may be a simple solution for Moyes to consider if he wants to get the 23-year-old up and running.
Barry netted 11 goals in La Liga last season, with those goals spread across nine games in the Spanish top flight.

Everton have not played with a front two this season, but Beto was hailed as a fighter by Fulham’s Calvin Bassey following his cameo at the weekend.
Using a front two, which would currently require Beto, would likely require Everton to drop one of their current midfielders due to the drastic change in formation.
Everton could use Beto to get the best out of Barry
Over the summer, Moyes admitted he was frustrated with Beto and what he was seeing from the 27-year-old over pre-season.
To facilitate playing a 4-4-2 formation, there would need to be some compromise made in the midfield to accommodate the extra striker.
And his midfield partner, Idrissa Gana Gueye, shone again at the weekend as he netted for the first time at the new stadium.
It would certainly leave Moyes with a difficult decision to make, but finding a way to squeeze some goals out of his strikers has to be his top priority.
The days of a Premier League front two have become a thing of the distant past, but it could be exactly what is needed on Merseyside.
However, it would leave Moyes with a big decision as to who would make way for Beto to return to the starting XI.
