Kerr Kriisa spent one season in the Big 12 playing for West Virginia in 2023-24. The super senior guard is now re-joining that league after a pitstop at Kentucky in 2024-25. The multi-time transfer has found his fourth home in high major college basketball.

The Kentucky transfer will suit up for Cincinnati next season.

Kerr Kriisa spent his first three seasons at Arizona before landing at West Virginia. Playing for head coach Tommy Lloyd, Kriisa led the Pac-12 in assists in consecutive seasons. At WVU, Kriisa averaged 11.0 points and 4.7 assists. The lead guard only played in nine games for UK this past season. The guard missed the final 27 games with a foot injury. Kriisa finished his UK career averaging 4.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. The Estonia native will turn 25 years old during next year’s college basketball season.

Kriisa is a career 36 percent three-point shooter with 1,005 career points who has played in 108 total games. The transfer is following the footsteps of former Kentucky guard CJ Fredrick who finished his collegiate career at Cincinnati following stops at Iowa and Kentucky. The Bearcats finished last season 19-16 (7-13) and did not make the NCAA Tournament. Year five will be a big one for head coach Wes Miller as the Bearcats still haven’t reached the Big Dance under his watch. UC will be hoping that Kriisa will be a key cog in getting them over the hump.
