Micah Parsons Sends Message to Maxx Crosby After $106 Million Deal

Just days before the NFL free agency period begins, the Las Vegas Raiders made a massive decision. The Raiders signed star defensive end Maxx Crosby to a new contract.

Crosby and the Raiders agreed on a three-year deal worth a total of $106.5 million with $91.5 million guaranteed.

Crosby now becomes the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history in a massive move for both sides.

Crosby’s new deal sparked reactions from plenty, including Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.

“Congratulations to my dear friend @CrosbyMaxx well deserved, certainly earned & I’m so darn proud of u. You play the game the way it’s supposed to be played,” Sanders wrote.

Another big name to send congratulations to Crosby was Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons.

“@CrosbyMaxx congrats my brother !!” Parsons wrote on X with a 100 emoji.

Crosby, 27, has spent his entire career with the Raiders since being drafted in the fourth round in 2019.

He has been named to the Pro Bowl four times while recording 59.5 career sacks with 105 tackles for loss and 144 quarterback hits, so he is one of the top defensive players in the league.

Parsons, meanwhile, is in the final year of his rookie contract and spoke about those contract discussions in February, per Cowboys.com writer Patrik Walker.

“There’s definitely a plan in place, but we’ll just see how everything plays out,” Parsons said. “There’s been no progress yet, but I’m pretty confident that something will happen, so we’ll see.”

While Crosby cashes in, Parsons sends him congratulations as the Cowboys star also is working on a new contract.
