Eddie Howe future latest after Newcastle United lose to Crystal Palace

Those who would like a managerial change could hardly be blamed right now.
Still, a decision will not be made imminently, it seems.
Howe set to be in charge of Newcastle United until the end of the season
As supporters raged at the defeat against Palace on social media, one person on the X platform asked iNews reporter Douglas – a Newcastle United expert – on whether Howe would resign.
In response, Douglas wrote: “Nothing is going to change before May. There are questions for him, clearly. But the club as a whole has hugely underperformed for a year now.”
Do you think PIF have lost interest in Newcastle United? 🤔

With that in mind, it seems like the Howe era will last at least another six games before a decision is made, and even then, there is absolutely no guarantee that it will come to an end.
Howe is a Newcastle United legend and deserves to be treated with respect. Even if he is to go, then it’s a shame that the situation threatens to turn toxic.
The whole club feels flat right now. It says a lot when a deal to rename the training ground feels like significant progress at executive level, where things often appear to be moving at glacial speed.

No matter one’s stance on Howe, it’s going to be interesting to see how the next six games unfold.
The season is now effectively over for Newcastle. There may be some lip service paid towards not being out of the running for European qualification, but does anyone really believe that?
Things cannot get much better, but they can get an awful lot worse.
More defeats and insipid performances could make things get ugly.
