STV host Ewen Cameron issues ‘apology’ as details revealed on controversy involving Rangers

Ewen Cameron believes Hearts and Rangers have been hard done by
Cameron investigated and revealed data showing that Celtic have benefited from something unprecedented.
While he wanted Hearts to play their final game at home, as that is the advantage the league leaders should be getting, he did not know that it had been the norm.
In the last 16 seasons, on 15 occasions, the team that has been leading before the split have played their final game at home.
However, this time around, Hearts will play away from home as they visit Celtic at Parkhead.
Five players have been shortlisted for Player of the Season…
Who should win it in your view, and why?

Rangers will also play their last game away as they visit the Falkirk Stadium.
Cameron wrote on X: “An apology.
“I said in my video that the team who are top of the league at the split will, ‘more often than not’, be given a home game in the final fixture.
“I was wrong. It’s even worse than I thought.
“In the last 16 seasons it has happened 15 times. For season 25/26 it will read: ‘Top At Break – Hearts, Last Game – Away to Celtic’
“A disgrace.”
He mentioned Rangers, Hearts and Celtic and said: “The SPFL is a joke. Always has been. Always will be.”

How Danny Rohl and Rangers will be preparing for the split
Danny Rohl and Rangers cannot do anything about the SPFL’s decision and can only focus on themselves.
The German has fostered a cup final mentality in his side as he knows that they control their destiny.
Winning all their games will ensure that they get their hands on the title and that will be the only message from him.
The team will also be heading to Spain for a warm-weather camp to ease a few nerves before they return for the split games.
This mini-vacation could prove to be a major psychological boost as it will recharge the players ahead of five huge matches.
