Rangers delete official announcement following fan backlash as Gers fail to read the room
Rangers made an announcement about Lee McCulloch accompanying fans for an exclusive tour of Ibrox.
The behind-the-scenes tour would include visits to the dressing room, walks down the tunnel and hearing about legends like Walter Smith, Ally McCoist and Barry Ferguson and also included a photo with a former captain of the Gers.
However, following the backlash from the fans after the events from the Scottish Cup defeat, the social media team decided to delete it.

Rangers fans waiting for official statement following Celtic match
After the Scottish Cup loss, the Gers believed that they could lighten the mood by offering a meet-and-greet opportunity with other players.
However, fans were having none of that as they wanted the club to issue a statement following the chaos at Ibrox.

There was damage caused to the stadium, and hundreds of thousands of pounds’ worth of destruction took place over the weekend.
The last thing the supporters are looking for is for the club to monetise the stadium without addressing the elephant in the room.
Below is a screenshot of the post, which has now been deleted by the social media admin.

How many Rangers fans will be allowed at Parkhead in the Scottish Premiership?
According to the Daily Record, as things stand, Rangers have been given an allocation of 2,500 fans for the final Old Firm of the season at Parkhead.
This is the same number of Gers fans that were at the home of Celtic for the Old Firm game in January, which the hosts lost 3-1.
The reason why there were 7,500 away fans at Ibrox for the Scottish Cup is because the cup rules are different.
The 2,500 number was agreed upon by both clubs as they opted to move past the 750 away fans number that was in place eight years ago.
Keith Jackson claims that the SPFL are already in talks with the police for the post-split fixture at Celtic Park, particularly after the pitch invasion at Ibrox.
