Brighton have injury concerns as they resume Premier League action this Saturday at Sunderland.

The Seagulls are 14th in the table and have won two of their last three matches.

Last time out, Fabian Hurzeler’s men were beaten 1-0 by title-chasing Arsenal at the Amex Stadium.

Sunderland have impressed this term after their promotion to the top flight. Regis Le Bris men are three points above Brighton in 11th but suffered a surprise FA Cup exit last Sunday as they lost 1-0 at League One strugglers Port Vale.

The Black Cats though have proved a formidable opponent in the Premier League, especially at the Stadium of Light, where they have lost just twice all season.

Here’s the latest on Albion’s Walking wounded

    Stefanos Tzimas out

The Greek international continues his recovery after his ACL injury sustained earlier this season in the 4-3 home loss to Aston Villa. The £22m summer arrival is expected to be back in time for next season.

    Adam Webster – out

Another ACL as the experienced defender went down in pre-season. The 31-year-old is expected to miss the entire campaign and then a decision on his future will be made in the summer. A blow for Webster as he finished last season strongly.

    Lewis Dunk – doubt

The skipper missed last week’s 1-0 home to Arsenal with a “small issue” and will hope to return in time to face Sunderland this Saturday. He was spotted training this week, which is a promising sign.

    Solly March – doubt

The experienced winger returned after an 11-month absence as he played the final stages of Albion’s recent home win against Nottingham Forest. He then missed the Arsenal match and afterwards, Fabian Hurzeler told Sussex World that it was a “small muscle issue” and not related to the knee problems that have plagued him for the past two seasons.

    Kaoru Mitoma – very doubtful

The Japan international injured his ankle against Arsenal and highly is unlikely to feature at Sunderland. Mitoma was spotted in a protective boot and crutches and could not place any weight at all on his foot. He looked in a lot of pain and I will be amazed if he plays at Sunderland.
