Newcastle United are likely to have Yoane Wissa and Sven Botman available for their Champions League clash with Qarabag on Tuesday night.

Wissa has missed the last four games with a knee knock but is back in training, alongside Botman.

Botman was initially in line to return from a small back injury for Saturday’s defeat at Manchester City but eventually missed that game.

With that in mind, here’s a look at Newcastle United predicted lineup on Tuesday night as they close in on the Champions League round of 16.

Given the size of the lead from the first leg, it would not be a surprise to see Howe bring some young players into the team.

Academy players Leo Shahar, Sean Neave and Alex Murphy are all in line to feature. Malick Thiaw is suspended.

Newcastle United confirmed team news vs Qarabag

Wissa and Botman were seen in training on Monday, although Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon were not.

Still, a relaxed-looking Howe played down any concerns about his players missing training and suggested some of them were merely working indoors.

When asked about selecting what could be a fairly young team, he said during his pre-match press conference: “Possibly, we will look at the squad. We want to win the game.”

    Newcastle United injuries vs Qarabag

Guimaraes is injured for Newcastle and isn’t expected to return until after the March international break.

Livramento, meanwhile, is on course for a return in early March. Schar will likely make his comeback towards April, while Krafth’s season is over.
