Leeds United ready summer deal for Yacine Titraoui as early conditions revealed – Exclusive

Yacine Titraoui has emerged as an early target for Leeds United’s summer recruitment plans, MOT Leeds News has learned.
Plenty has already been made of the lack of business done by Leeds United in the winter, though until May, the impact of that will remain unkown.
Nottingham Forest travel to Elland Road on Friday night to face the Whites in what is set to be a relegation six-pointer.
Securing results on the pitch will be the one and only focus for Daniel Farke between now and the end of the campaign, and depending on the outcome of it, the Whites already have several targets lined up for potential moves.

Yacine Titraoui sparks interest from Leeds United
Leeds United’s priority in the winter was to bring in a new striker, and having failed to do that, it will remain the same going into the summer.
However, there are various other areas of the squad that the Whites will look to bolster if they remain in the Premier League, and their midfield is one of them.
As a result, MOT Leeds News has learned that Titraoui of Charleroi has sparked interest from the Whites, having impressed in the Belgian league this season.
Leeds know the league well, having tried to sign Noah Sadiki from there in the summer, albeit losing out on that deal to Sunderland.
However, at this stage, it is believed that a move will only be entertained if the Whites are to stay in the Premier League, and with 14 games to go and a six-point advantage, they will be hopeful of doing so.
What would Titraoui bring to Elland Road?
By trade, Titraoui is a defensive midfielder, but he has showcased throughout his time in Belgium that he is capable of taking up a variety of midfield positions.
With that said, his strengths are certainly protecting the backline, with an average of 2.07 tackles per 90, as well as 1.57 interceptions.
For comparison, Ethan Ampadu typically occupies that role at Elland Road, and averages 2.37 tackles per 90 and 1.45 interceptions.
However, Titraoui also offers plenty on the ball, and that is showcased by the fact that he has created 14 chances this season, as well as having scored four goals.
At this stage, it is just a deal that is being considered, but a move could be made as soon as Leeds’ Premier League status is confirmed.
