Tottenham make deadline day exit call as West Ham want Antonin Kinsky swoop

West Ham United will struggle to finalise a loan deal for Tottenham keeper Antonin Kinsky before the end of the transfer window.

Kinsky has been linked with a move to West Ham over the past few weeks, as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to strengthen his squad ahead of a Premier League relegation battle.

The Hammers still remain six points adrift of safety after losing 3-2 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Nuno’s side raced into a two-goal lead but were unable to hang on, with the West London outfit fighting back and Enzo Fernandez scoring a last-minute winner.

Tottenham make final decision on Antonin Kinsky loan

According to Tottenham journalist Tom Barclay, Spurs are reluctant to loan out Kinsky for the rest of the season.

It means that the 22-year-old shot-stopper is unlikely to complete a move to West Ham and will instead remain at Tottenham.

It remains to be seen whether the Hammers will go back into the market to find an alternative option, with just hours to go before the end of the winter transfer window.

Nuno wanted Kinsky to replace Mads Hermansen as his backup goalkeeper, with the former Leicester City man struggling since his move to the London Stadium.

Hermansen is yet to play a Premier League game under the Portuguese manager, and has been restricted to just one appearance since the middle of September, in the FA Cup win over QPR.

West Ham close in on loan signing

Despite looking likely to miss out on the signing of Kinsky, West Ham are set to bring in Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.

Liam Rosenior’s side have recalled Mamadou Sarr from his loan spell at Strasbourg, which has opened the door for Disasi to complete his move to the London Stadium.

The French centre-back is yet to make a single senior appearance this season, and is well down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

However, his imminent switch to West Ham could provide him with the opportunity he needs to spark his career back into life.
