West Ham United are in talks to sign Antonin Kinsky but Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank insists he would be ‘happy’ to keep the Czech goalkeeper for the remainder of the Premier League season.

While Fulham winger Adama Traore should become Nuno’s fourth signing since taking over – following Pablo Felipe, Taty Castellanos and Keiber Lamadrid – number five may not be too far away.

The former Slavia Prague keeper has played only eleven games since arriving in England 12 months ago. Two of those appearances came in 2025/26, with Thomas Frank expected to start Guglielmo Vicario again during the Champions League trip to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Frank acknowledges that Kinsky may be unhappy with his lack of chances, though he is in no rush to push him out the door.

“In general, happy with Kinsky. He’s a great keeper,” the former Brentford boss told a press conference on Tuesday. “I think any player wants to play.

“But we also need good players if something happens with Vic for example.”

The likelihood is, then, that Tottenham would want to land a replacement before letting Kinsky go. Their current third-choice is Brandon Austin, who at 27 has played only three times for the first-team.

Kinsky has been compared to Czech legend Petr Cech and even Bayern Munich great Manuel Neuer in the past. West Ham’s track record when signing players who made their name in the Czech league – from Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal to El Hadji Malick Diouf – also bodes well.
