How to watch Rangers vs Annan and Auchinleck Talbot vs Celtic in Scottish Cup: TV channel and kick-off times

Rangers manager Danny Rohl and Celtic manager Martin O'Neill

Celtic and Rangers are set to enter the Scottish Cup at the fourth round this week as they look to dethrone holders Aberdeen.

Aberdeen took on Celtic in the Scottish Cup final last season, and emerged victorious after a penalty shootout.

But the Old Firm clubs will hope to take it back this year, despite a chaotic first half of the season.

Celtic beat Falkirk 1-0 on Wednesday to continue their return to form since the sacking of Wilfried Nancy, and the beginning of the second interim stint of Martin O’Neill.

Rangers beat Aberdeen 2-0 on Sunday, and have continued to look a team revitalised since Danny Rohl‘s appointment.

How to watch Rangers vs Annan Athletic

Rangers will take on Annan Athletic on Friday, as they look to make it through to the next round of the Scottish Cup.

Their opponents currently sit seventh in Scottish League Two, and have met the Gers on six previous occasions in their history.

Four of those meetings came in the 2012-13 season, after Rangers had been demoted to League Two after a vote by SFL clubs.

The two sides also met in the 2021-22 edition of the Scottish Cup, when the Scottish Premiership side knocked out their League Two opposition at the round of 16 stage.

Annan have won one game at Ibrox – goals from Ally Love and David Hopkirk marked a historic away victory in 2013.

The clash will kick off at 19:45 GMT on Friday, and will be available to watch on Premier Sports 2.

How to watch Auchinleck Talbot vs Celtic

Celtic will face a team even further down the league when they travel to Auchinleck Talbot on Sunday.

The Bots, who play in the West of Scotland Premier Division at the sixth tier of Scottish football, will look to become giant slayers when they host the Bhoys.

The game has been moved to Kilmarnock‘s ground, Rugby Park, due to concerns over the safety of Auchinleck’s Beechwood Park when dealing with such a big game.

The Ayrshire club currently sit second in the West of Scotland Premier Division, and have a strong chance of promotion.

Auchinleck met Scottish Premiership opposition in 2022, when Hearts travelled to Beechwood Park in the Scottish Cup.

That game ended 5-0, but came with huge benefits for the sixth-step club. Sunday’s game will hopefully provide a similar effect, although there will be dreams of a monumental shock.

Celtic’s trip to Auchinleck Talbot will kick off at 17:30 GMT on Sunday, and will be shown live on Premier Sports 1.
