£33m development emerges as West Ham United look to seal Milton Delgado transfer
West Ham are in hot pursuit of Milton Delgado, who is also on Brighton’s transfer radar in January.
Nuno Espirito Santo is in dire need of reinforcements in the coming weeks, given the Hammers’ struggles this term.
This is shocking! 😰 Relegation is going to be dire for West Ham…
What would YOU do to avoid this mess?

Opta predict West Ham to get relegated, making it imperative that they strengthen this winter.
Boca Juniors’ president makes Milton Delgado demand
According to El Intrasigente, Boca Juniors’ president, Juan Riquelme, has urged the hierarchy to retain Milton Delgado’s services.
While the 20-year-old is under contract until 2028, Riquelme wants to protect his value in order to get good money for him.
West Ham are eyeing Delgado and have been joined by Brighton in the race, making it a potentially lucrative sale for the Argentine club.
Should the Boca president get his way, a release clause in the region of £33million would be included in the Argentine midfielder’s contract.
While he does not want to lose one of his best players, a sale would revitalise the fortunes of the club, making it an uneasy decision for the president.
What CHANGES would you make to our West Ham v Fulham combined XI?
We just HAD to shoehorn both Bowen and Harry Wilson in…

Who is West Ham target Milton Delgado?
Delgado is a 5ft 5in defensive midfielder who hails from Argentina and is one of the country’s best young midfielders.
He has been playing senior football for over a year and has already caught the eye of some sides in Europe.

While he is relatively short, he is known for his physicality and tenacity, making him an ideal fit for the Premier League.
His best role is playing as the sitting midfielder in a double pivot, as he is good at winning the ball and recycling possession.
Delgado is also lauded for his maturity, as he has the ability to run a game from deep and is someone who has leadership skills at a very young age.
Nuno could certainly do with someone like the Argentine, but it would need him at least half a season to adapt to life in England.
What West Ham need is someone who can hit the ground running and strengthen the team, either in defence or in the final third.
