Nuno Espirito Santo is the worst West Ham manager in Premier League history for awful stat

Nuno Espirito Santo is walking on thin ice, and to survive relegation from the Premier League, West Ham may have to sack him.
Nuno was appointed as West Ham manager at the end of September following Graham Potter’s dismissal, and the Portuguese tactician was expected to revitalise the squad.
Instead, the former Nottingham Forest boss has had the opposite impact, only winning two of his first 12 matches in charge.
West Ham’s chances of being relegated have increased to 61% as a result, and their only option to save themselves could be sacking the 51-year-old.

Nuno Espirito Santo has worst points per game of any West Ham manager in Premier League
Whilst some Premier League teams have seen an upturn in form, most notably Leeds United, the Hammers are winless in their last six matches.
That run has left the Irons five points from safety, and with fixtures to come against Fulham, Brighton, Wolves and Nottingham Forest, it’s make or break for Nuno and his players.
Worryingly, Nuno has only averaged 0.83 points per game since becoming manager, the lowest of any permanent West Ham boss in Premier League history.

When West Ham could sack Nuno
The world of football management is a brutal business, and many are even questioning whether he deserves the January transfer window to invest in the squad.
Ultimately, it doesn’t look like Nuno will be at the club long-term if his abysmal record continues, with no point in him signing his own players.
Alan Pardew thinks West Ham will be relegated unless serious investment is made, and they’re currently planning for a huge transfer window.
A new centre-forward is on the agenda, especially with Niclas Fullkrug closing in on a move to AC Milan, while the Hammers need some defensive solidity.
As it stands, Nuno will be given the upcoming window to sign some players, but even if recruitment is nailed, there’s a mountain to climb in the survival race.
