Jack Grealish urged to make Everton decision amid Manchester City exit development – ‘If he had any sense’

Jack Grealish has a dilemma over his future at Everton.

Grealish joined Everton on loan in the summer and has gone on to be a true asset at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Toffees have benefited from his inclusion, with Grealish recently scoring the winner against Bournemouth to secure a hard-fought away win.

These performances have alerted teams outside of Merseyside to a potential future transfer, as Grealish looks destined to leave Manchester City at the end of the campaign.

This would leave Grealish with a choice to make over the summer over whether he wants to remain with the Toffees or move elsewhere.

Everton and Man City could agree on a settlement for Grealish at a lower fee than the £50million that features in his loan arrangement.

That would certainly benefit David Moyes and Co., but is bound to pique the interest of sides higher up the Premier League table and beyond.

The Englishman could be left with a raft of summer offers, leaving him with a decision over his future club.

Former Everton scout Bryan King has been blunt in his suggestion that Grealish should remain on Merseyside and continue to rediscover his best form with the Toffees.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: “If I’m Jack Grealish, I’d stay where I am.

“He’s got a manager who believes in him and a club who believes in him to rebuild his career. That’s what he’ll do at Everton.

“I think he’s very settled where he is. If he had any sense, he’d stay at Everton.

“What can you get today for £30m?

“His relationship with David Moyes will be the factor. Moyes has proven that he can bring him up, and you can see that Jack is enjoying his football.“

Does Grealish have any loyalty to Everton?

There is very little loyalty in football these days, but the Englishman has proven in the past that he does have a more traditional sense of loyalty.

Grealish was a true star at Aston Villa and was seen as one of the best players in the entire Premier League despite playing for a relegation-threatened and then mid-table side.

That sparked Pep Guardiola to move for him, but not before the local lad secured a £100m record fee for his boyhood club.

The 30-year-old went on to shine for Man City before being frozen out and has found his feet at Everton.

Grealish kissed the badge away to Bournemouth, so the Toffees will hope his loyalty will be there to the Toffees after giving him a chance this season, and he will stick around for the long term.
