Everton squad applaud Idrissa Gueye for what he did after Manchester United controversy

Gueye clashed with Michael Keane away to Man United and was sent off after raising his hand to his own teammate at Old Trafford.
The Senegal international got away with one as Everton went on to win 1-0 against Man United thanks to a Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall strike.
Gueye was also poor for Everton against Sunderland earlier this month, so frustration has swirled around the midfielder at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Despite this, Gueye has earned his teammates’ respect with his actions after letting himself down in the victory over the Red Devils.

Everton squad impressed with Idrissa Gueye vs Manchester United
David Moyes secured a win against Man United as the Toffees delivered the Scot a dream result over his former side.
The 62-year-old revealed at full-time that he was actually pleased to see his players fighting on the pitch as they showcased the sort of passion he wants more of in L4.
Things would have been different if the Evertonians had tasted defeat against Ruben Amorim’s side, but as it was, the midfielder got away with one.
There were fears from supporters that the spat between Gueye and Keane would cause problems within the squad, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The Daily Mail reported on 26 November that the Senegalese ace apologised to the dressing room at Old Trafford and directly addressed the centre-back.
His Everton teammates applauded Gueye for owning up to his error, with Keane understood to have moved on from the incident already.
Gueye does best to rectify Man United mistake
Gueye certainly let down his teammates with a moment of madness after what was seemingly an innocuous moment at Old Trafford.
A loose pass from the ex-PSG man clearly didn’t appreciate the comments made by Keane, but just went the wrong way around voicing his frustrations.
All the midfielder could do was apologise and hope for forgiveness, something that was certainly easier after a massive win against the Red Devils.
Moyes won’t want to see a repeat of his actions, but even after his red card, it appears that the Goodison dressing room is in a good place.
