West Ham have Alexsandro transfer encouragement as relegation clause claim emerges

Nuno Espirito Santo’s prospects at the London Stadium look bleak right now, with the Hammers predicted to suffer relegation from the Premier League.
Alexsandro is valued at £26million by Lille, and it looks like the Irons are ready to invest in their squad to avoid a nightmarish scenario in the English top flight.
It looks like the East London outfit are making progress to sign the 26-year-old centre-back in January, but they may have to make some concessions.

West Ham look to fix defence with Alexsandro transfer
Nuno has had Alexsandro on his wishlist since being appointed at the Hammers, the E20 club’s top transfer source says.
It’s been claimed that the Brazil international is the Irons’ top target, with initial talks over a move to the London Stadium encouraging.
Nuno wants the East London club to add the centre-back to their squad as soon as the winter transfer window opens, but it seems like they may need to include a relegation clause in a potential deal.
Speaking to Hammers News on 28 October, the source said: “The team simply must stop conceding goals at the rate they have been, and it looks like there’s only one way to fix that now. The Lille player was on Nuno’s list when he arrived, and he is the top target.”
