New Everton investor Jason Kidd shares his exciting ‘plan’ which fans are going to love
Everton have seen some monumental changes over the last few months on Merseyside.
David Moyes has been able to keep the Toffees afloat in the Premier League following an impressive three months back at the club.
There is plenty of work which is needing to be done, though.
Everton are set for a big summer where player turnover is expected to be high with numerous contracts coming to an end.
It is expected Everton will lose Dan Purdy as their head of recruitment despite the exciting plans being put in place at Finch Farm.
But there are still plenty of positives with new investment being brought into the club.
Alongside Christopher Sarofim joining Everton’s board, NBA legend Jason Kidd has now been announced as a new investor at Everton and he has some exciting plans.

The Friedkins have completely overhauled Everton’s backroom staff with some big changes being made to how the club will recruit this summer.
But it is not just the staff who are changing as there are also two new faces at the ownership level following the announcement of Dallas Mavericks head coach Kidd joining the Toffees.
Speaking on the Unfiltered Soccer podcast, Kidd has shared his plans to visit Goodison Park for the final game against Southampton.
“The goal is, the plan is, to get there on May 18th for the last game to experience the history. It’s going to be excitement, sadness, it’s going to be a rollercoaster of emotions,” said Kidd.
“We talk about Goodison Park, I’m excited and I would like to go see the new stadium. But I would love to just sit there and listen to the songs and everyone cheer and cry after that game. Just to sit in there and absorb like a sponge because this is where the club has been for a lot of years.”
Moyes has finally visited Bramley-Moore Dock and despite his overriding excitement, he is slightly frustrated by the pitch being dug up.
Having not yet visited Merseyside, Kidd will be in for a real treat if he is to make the trip over from the United States next month.
What LeBron James said about Jason Kidd should excite Everton fans
Kidd is joining Everton as a minority owner with an expected small stake in the club.
Having also seen Sarofim join the club with his vast wealth, it is not Kidd’s money which the Friedkins will be looking for.
