Travis Kelce reportedly spent £110,000 on lavish Valentine’s gifts for partner Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs star attempted to get over his devastating Super Bowl defeat with some retail therapy.
The Chiefs were comfortably beaten 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles, ending their chances of a three-peat. Kelce has been mulling over his future in the intervening period but still managed to get time in to buy some expensive treats for popstar girlfriend Swift.
According to The Sun, the 35-year-old spent £110k on a range of luxury gifts. They reportedly included a Cartier watch and a box of flowers which live for a year.
Kelce also purchased clothes from Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo.
A source close to the NFL star’s team allegedly told the newspaper: “Travis knows that Taylor loves Valentine’s day, as they both are very romantic and [they] enjoy every day and event that celebrates love and passion.

He missed out on a third consecutive Super Bowl title but could be inspired to continue playing for the Chiefs as they target a fourth Super Bowl appearance in a row.
Speaking on the New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason, Kelce revealed that he has been delaying a decision over his future. He does not want to make a knee-jerk choice and retire too soon.
“I know everybody wants to know whether I’m playing next year and, right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road,” Kelce said. “I’m kicking every can I can down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions. I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years I’ve played more football than anybody.”
