    Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Urges NBA to Make Major Change Amid Backlash

    Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has some thoughts for NBA commissioner Adam Silver. The Bucks forward is among those who wants to see several changes made to the NBA All-Star Game.

    Silver introduced a new four-team tournament format for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, but many fans are criticizing the event. One criticism is just how little basketball was played on Sunday when compared to musical performances, commercials and TNT analysts discussing the games.

    Antetokounmpo offered several suggestions to make NBA All-Star Weekend more entertaining. First, the Bucks veteran would like to see the rosters divided between Americans and international players.

    A bigger change would be moving the NBA All-Star Game to an international location each year.

    “2027 All star game should be in Rio de Janeiro or in a city in China!”  in a message on X on Sunday.

    As for the current format, former NBA player Ron Harper is among those to criticize the 2025 game.
