Trade Package Chicago Bulls Want for In-form Nikola Vucevic
It’s been months since trade rumors have been swirling around the Chicago Bulls. They have had a decent start this season, currently placing them in 8th position in the East with a 9-13 record after their recent win over the Brooklyn Nets.
However going with this record, it is hard to believe that the team could compete for the championship ring or even get close. To make it happen, the franchise intends to go through a revamp, and what would be better than starting with a veteran?
The speculation started with the trade rumors surrounding Nikola Vucevic, though he still has a lot left in his tank. However, finding a destination for the veteran would be essential.
Two big-name franchises, the are in the Bulls Star. What would it take for a Vucevic trade to materialise?
According to Robert Peterson on X: “I’ve heard the Bulls are reportedly seeking a package that includes multiple second-round draft picks and a promising young player in exchange for Vucevic.”
Following this, many trade links could emerge in the near future as Vucevic has already proved that he remains a worthy contributor. He is averaging 20.9 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.2 assists with a 47.6 three-point shooting percentage and 58.2 field goal percentage so far this season. The 34-year-old is still a big part of the Bulls’ offense.
He would not be a bad fit for most franchises, considering he is a two-time All-Star. It would be hard for the Bulls to trade one of their best performers at this juncture. Still, the organization’s intent to revamp is believed to be rock solid, as they have consistently missed the playoffs in recent years. So, expect to see Vucevic be traded at some point this season.
