That is exactly what they did, even if they had to deal with some adversity. Problems on pit road saw Logano lose four spots after the end of Stage 1, and in Stage 2 they needed to change a jackman, taking a member of Austin Cindric’s No.2 car crew after a pit crew member was unwell.
Despite all that, Logano and his team, led by crew chief Paul Wolfe, got the job done as they have done so many times. And it backed up his confidence from earlier in the week.
