Jaylen Brown spoke after the Boston Celtics‘ 113-107 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Addressing a moment he had with Giannis Antetokounmpo after a hard foul, Brown slammed the former MVP for being childish, and not showing respect during the game, but stressed that he was focused on helping the Celtics win the game.
During the game, Giannis hit Jaylen Brown with a hard elbow to the head during the game. As the pair were running up the court, Giannis extended his hand to offer a handshake, seemingly trying to make amends after the moment. However, as Brown extended his hand to accept the handshake, Giannis pulled his hand away and ran it through his hair, a long-used taunt meant to disrespect the other person.
Brown struggled in the Celtics’ win, as he put up just 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists while shooting 4-13 from the field, 1-5 from the three-point line, and 5-6 from the stripe. Despite Brown’s poor performance, the Celtics were able to win thanks to Jayson Tatum.
