Ashley Young may never start again under Sean Dyche for Everton after what he did v Liverpool, he was woeful
Everton go into the half-time break against Liverpool with the scores level at 0-0 but Sean Dyche will be reeling at his senior star Ashley Young after what he did.
Everton had a great chance within the opening seconds of the match when Dominic Calvert-Lewin latched onto a Dwight McNeil but his header was straight at Alisson.
However, Liverpool took advantage of their home support as they ramped up the pressure on Dyche’s men with Klopp’s full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas involved heavily in the early proceedings.
Liverpool could well have been ahead inside twelve minutes when Ashley Young brilliantly halted Luis Diaz after he’d been found in the box from Dominik Szoboszlai’s marauding run from a Toffees’ corner.
Mo Salah had an effort just over the bar and the Reds continued to push but Everton certainly stood tall with some resilient defending.
Ashley Young was deservedly sent off in the 37th minute for a second bookable offence when he clumsily fouled Luis Diaz outside the penalty area as he approached the penalty area.

Sean Dyche may well be reeling over the performance of his senior star, who struggled up against Liverpool’s Diaz all game.
It’s been a regular theme for the former Watford and Aston Villa full-back who’s been rather woeful in recent weeks with some dreadful performances.
As per SofaScore, Young won just one tackle, was dribbled past twice, gave away two fouls as well as the needless red card, completed just six of his 13 passes at a disastrous success rate of 46% and failed with all of his long balls.
With a player blessed with his experience and know-how, Young’s decision-making throughout the game was of a player who may have been playing the first top-flight encounter of his career.
With Seamus Coleman nearing full fitness and Nathan Patterson languishing behind the scenes on the bench, Young may never start for Dyche again.
