Leeds United)Welcome to our latest Leeds United live blog as we head into the home summer of the summer transfer window.
The summer sales are still a week away and Daniel Farke has filled a great need as the club were able to confirm the signing of Joel Piroe on Thursday night.
The prolific Dutch striker has arrived from Swansea City and is the sort of signing the club has been pushing in recent weeks.
White fans are hoping for more, however, as German midfielder Nadiem Amiri is also believed to be closing in on a move to Elland Road, while Lewis O’Brien, Facundo Buonanotte and Glen Kamara have also been linked at the start of this week.
With Leeds last able to name just five substitutes from their squad for the match against West Bromwich Albion, it’s clear more additions are desperately needed as the club tries to bounce back from a deluge of summer camps and face a long list of injuries. .
Then there’s also this weekend’s trip to Portman Road to watch, with Daniel Farke confirming in his pre-match press conference that Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra were both back in the first team and available for the match against big flyers. City of Ipswich.

THE IMPORTANT EVEN Tv Glen Kamara is set to leave Rangers amid Leeds United links Rangers boss Michael Beale has confirmed the Leeds United target is the closest player to leaving Ibrox in the final week of transfer week.“
We are close to a couple who could avoid.
We can react when something is out of the ordinary. Glen is the closest thing to it.
We had an honest discussion when I returned to the club [in December] about Glen’s future and where he saw it. ”
He started ten of the first 11 games I’ve been in here. At the time we had signed Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin, but they arrived after being sidelined for a long time.
They came into the team and did really well. Well.“So it’s not about an outage or anything like that.
We expected Glen to move this summer – it was his wish.
There are no problems with this. Obviously he has to find the right club, there has to be the right assessment for everyone, because then we lose an excellent player.”
If you are very honest on the player’s side and say that he sees his future elsewhere, as manager you have to go in a different direction.
I was not in the mood to get anyone to play for Rangers.””Glen has been an excellent resource while he’s been here.
If nothing happens this week, Glen will know he’s here until January – then the rules of the game will be very different.
